Terms of Service

Leadio helps you discover publicly listed business information — company name, address, phone number, website, and rating — for businesses in a location and industry you choose, and lets you save, annotate, and export that information.

Business data is sourced from third-party providers, primarily Google's Places data. We don't control that data and can't guarantee it is complete, current, or error-free.

You must provide accurate information when you sign up and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. One person or entity per account unless we agree otherwise.

Usage is metered in credits. One credit is consumed for each lead a search returns. New accounts receive a one-time allowance of free credits that does not renew. Each paid plan includes a set number of credits that reset at the start of every billing cycle; unused credits do not roll over unless we state otherwise. Exporting data you have already found does not consume credits.

Paid plans are billed in advance through our payment processor, Stripe, on a monthly or annual basis. Annual plans are charged once for the full term. Prices may change; we'll give notice before a change affects you. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable, and cancelling stops future charges but does not refund the current period. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

You agree not to:

• resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Service or bulk-export data for the purpose of building a competing database;
• scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Service by automated means except through features we provide;
• use the data for unlawful outreach, including violations of the CAN-SPAM Act, TCPA, the Telemarketing Sales Rule, GDPR, CASL, or local do-not-call and marketing rules;
• use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm any person or business, or to send malware or deceptive messages;
• attempt to bypass credit limits, security controls, or rate limits.

You are solely responsible for how you contact the businesses and people you find through Leadio and for complying with all laws that apply to your outreach.

Lists, notes, and tags you create are yours. You grant us a limited licence to host and process them to operate the Service. We may access them to provide support, investigate abuse, or comply with law.

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Leadio. These Terms don't grant you any rights in it beyond the right to use it as permitted here.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that the data is accurate or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Leadio will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if a third-party data provider requires it. On termination your right to use the Service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable period, subject to our Privacy Policy. Sections 3 (amounts already owed), 6–8, 10, and 11 survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Leadio is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] so we can try to resolve the dispute informally. Nothing here limits either party's right to bring an individual claim in small claims court.

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Leadio regarding the Service, and supersede any earlier agreements on the same subject. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the “Last updated” date above and, if a change is material, notify you by email or an in-app notice before it takes effect. Continuing to use the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
